235th Military Police Company, South Dakota National Guard
The 235th MPC completed a 13-month deployment to Afghanistan January 2008. On Dec 6/7 of 2008, VFW Post 3442 hosted the 235th at a Welcome Home/Thank You Party held at the Post.
Members and their families were treated to a dinner featuring turkey, roast pork, and roast beef. 300 meals were served.
Post 3442 Ladies Auxiliary obtained and wrapped over 300 gifts for the attendees.
